SKIN addresses issues that have been increasingly prominent since the 2008 presidential election of Barack Obama. Bringing together the work of 36 contemporary artists, including Kara Walker, Ken Gonzales-Day and Ben Caldwell, SKIN aims to inspire dialogue about race and identity and bring this timely conversation into a centralized discursive space.
