Barnsdall Park is a facility of the City of Los Angeles Recreation and Parks Department. Cultural programs are under the direction of the Department of Cultural Affairs.

The park is located a short walk from the Metrorail Red Line’s Vermont Station.  Plan your visit using public transit here.

It is also a short walk to Los Feliz Village, with its restaurants, grocery stores, banks and shops.  Parking available on site.

Park Hours
5 a.m. - 10:30 p.m. Parking is available in a lot at the entrance on Hollywood Boulevard, as well as at the perimeter of the park on the hillside.

JUNIOR ARTS CENTER BARNSDALL ART CENTER

The Junior Arts Center and Barnsdall Art Center are open 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday, Saturday 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. during the 32 weeks when classes are being given.

During the twenty weeks when classes are not in session, the facilities are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Classes for children begin at 1 p.m. and end around 7:30 p.m. Adult classes begin at 9 a.m. and end at 9:30 p.m.

Tours are conducted every hour on the half hour 12:30 p.m to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday to Saturday.
Admission is $7. Youth 17 and under are $2.

It is necessary to make reservations for groups of ten or more. Private group tours are available with reservations.
