Barnsdall Art Park’s Croquet, Champagne + Oysters fall fundraiser on Sunday, November 8 — from 11am-3pm— promises to be an unforgettable afternoon of fun and games where you can get competitive or just relax! Swing into the holidays on the West Lawn of FLW’s recently reopened UNESCO-nominated Hollyhock House for some good old-fashioned fun with croquet, bubbly and oysters! All are invited including kids, no experience is required and prizes abound. We encourage guests to don traditional white garb and hats with the favorite hat receiving an extra tasting!
Cal King and KCRW DJ Dan Wilcox will provide the day’s entertainment. Tickets are $40 for adults and $10 for kids (3+), with a members discount at $25. Enjoy a 3-flight sparkling wine tasting by famed Silverlake Wine and croquet will be brought to you by the Pasadena Croquet Club. Local artisanal cheese purveyor, Say Cheese, will be offering guests an array of picnic baskets, available for pre-order. Oyster lovers are also in luck with The Oyster Gourmet bringing its refreshing and flavorful selection to the Park. Food trucks – Postcards Soul Fusion and Bar 1969 -will also be on hand to serve brunch. Guests are also welcome to bring their own blankets and picnics.
Pre-order a Say Cheese picnic basket with your ticket to be delivered to the park. Food trucks will be present but you are still welcome to bring your own food, soft drinks, and a blanket; however, NO outside alcoholic beverages will be permitted.
Free parking is available at the top and bottom of Barnsdall Art Park. Handicap parking is available at the top. You can also take the Metro Red Line to Vermont and Hollywood.
No refunds. In the event of weather or event cancellation, a rain check will be provided for a future Barnsdall Foundation event. Children under 21 will be allowed in the event but will not be permitted to consume alcohol. Valid Photo ID is required to partake in the tasting. Only service dogs are permitted inside of the gated West Lawn where the brunch will take place. Dogs and animals are permitted on leash in the general park areas right outside the West Lawn, however alcohol is not. We strongly suggest you do not bring your dog if you will be attending.
